It sounds like getting a new rest has thrown your bow out of tune which is causing your arrow to exit the rest crooked therefore causing it to veer left. I would definitely work on tuning the bow by using the above article. Once you have your arrow shooting through paper without any tears then you can move on to sighting in the bow which means moving the sights. Paper tuning your bow should really help to keep your arrow from veering left out of the bow. Its also important to make sure that the arrow fletchings are not hitting the new rest. This could also cause your arrow to exit the bow crooked.

Great article, but when do you sight in the rest?

I recently changed rests, and I cannot figure out how to sight the rest.

It was shooting accurately at 10, 15, 20, but when you get to 25+ yard shots, my arrows begin to drift to the left noticably (8 - 10 inches at 35 yards).

My friend thought I should move the rest to the left, and I did that, but now I cannot get a tight grouping on anything.

What should I do now?
